Jessica Leia performs “My Soul” solo. With just her voice and her piano she delivers a beautiful, yet dark and brooding ballad. Reminiscent of something you might hear in the Phantom of the Opera, “My Soul” is a song of theatric proportions, filled with minor and haunted tones that aptly express the dark nature of the song, itself. But unlike the Phantom of the Opera, this story isn’t about a love that can never be, it is a story about a love that was and that resulted in the violation of the deepest part of a human being: their soul.
