Welp, this is where it all began. This was the very first piano piece I ever concocted. There are pieces I made between this song and “Daydream” that I subsequently dissected and placed inside of later works, but I always kept this one just the way it was because it was my first. I thought I was being clever with my double meaning title since I was somewhat of a baby and always seemed to be crying, (not a complaint) and because my parents always had this really cool ground cover growing out in the backyard called baby tears that I was slightly enamored with. I hope you enjoy!
