A pop rock song that could seem like an angry one if it weren’t so touching; “Shame on You Man” reflects upon the atrocities committed against women throughout history. The poetry of the lyrics, met with the ferocity of the keys, makes for a Tori Amos meets Ani DiFranco, meets Billy Joel kind of feel. It is a call for the masculine people of the world to embrace the feminine, for the beautiful and powerful force that she is. In this studio recording of the song, Jessica Leia sings with guts and jams it out on piano while her band rocks it out with a cool walkin’ bass and grungy electric guitar behind her!
